Joe's School (ex-Travel) Diary

This blog is a mish-mash of experiences that I have had since its inception. Orignally, it allowed me to stay in communication while overseas summer 2006 with family and friends. Now it survives as just a pulse of what happening with me and since I am back in school full time now, there isn't as much travel. Still, read, laugh, share, comment, suggest and give me the link to your blog so I can check it out. Thanks For Reading, Joe Dumesnil

View of Cabin 3 at the Homestead with the Firepit in the foreground. Check out the Homestead yahoo group link on my live spaces page for more photos. They had the 30th Anniversary Celebration over Memorial Day. Cabin Bob(not pictured her but it is on my other blog) is still immaculately Homestead and so cool b/c it is a straw bale house. They are also beginning construction on a rammed tire, "Earth-Ship", where Cabin 2 sat. If you are ever in Central Ohio, you must visit, if only for a breath of fresh and mind opening gaze upon one evolving groups opt out of the hustle and bustle that most of us live in daily. Tell them I sent you.
I had to stop and see Pedro at South of the Border for some fireworks.. had too.
Elvis's Pool with diving board. If you opt to swim while on your tour, the museum staff will most likely call the Memphis City Po-Po to escort you to your next main attraction in Memphis, the Police Station. Umm, I haven't been arrested in a long time and but i wouldn't be surprised if it happens in Memphis if it happens at all in the future.
Swan Paddle Boat ride at the OKC Zoo. Jenny soaking up some rays.
At this point in our paddle boat ride I have mounted the swan's neck and we are headed at ramming speed towards a boat of adolescent strangers.
